I have been using DD-WRT for a long time without any problem on my Linksys E2500 as an openvpn client and everything was working perfectly  Therefore the Nordvpn server is allowing the iPlayer to stream via IE but not Chrome on the 'puter and neither via the Roku. I need one of my computers to work with my local ISP IP or with differend NordVPN server. I would like to (1) set my NETGEAR R6700v3 router, which is running DD-WRT firmware, as a client of my NordVPN service, with the goals of securing all home network traffic and freeing up some of the 6 slots of the service's simultaneous-device limit, BUT (2) still be able to remotely access my home network, specifically my home PC.. I'm comfortable enough completing item #1 alone but unsure I am considering NordVPN for my home network. My idea is to setup a DD-WRT router that will sit between my ISP modem and my current home infrastructure. However, I have a server at home running some services that I access remotely using dynamic dns (noip.org). It runs a client that updates the current public IP every 10 minutes.
